Privacy policy
This policy explains how Tables By Vauss uses information when you visit our shop, place an order, contact the studio or connect the studio's Google Merchant Center account.
Shopping and contacting us
We collect the information you give us, such as your name, email, delivery address, order details, messages and custom-design requests. We use it to answer questions, take payment, make and deliver your pieces, provide order updates and resolve problems. Our service providers also process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.
Stripe processes card payments. We receive payment status and transaction references; we do not store your full card number. We share the information needed to fulfil your order with payment, email and delivery providers, including Shippo and the carrier handling your parcel.
Cookies, shop measurement and optional analytics
Cookies and local storage support your basket, sign-in and privacy choices. The shop also records product views, basket activity and referral information to understand which pieces and campaigns lead to enquiries and orders. When advertising measurement is enabled, Meta may receive visit and purchase events, browser identifiers and hashed contact details to match and measure those events.
Optional PostHog analytics starts only after you agree through the site's Privacy choices control. It helps us find usability problems using page activity, error reports and masked session recordings. Inputs and text are masked; checkout, payment and owner-account pages are excluded from these recordings. This optional analytics respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. You can change your choice through the same control.
If enabled, optional Google Analytics measures product views, confirmed cart additions, checkout stages and purchases only after a fresh choice that includes Google Analytics. Earlier PostHog-only choices do not enable Google. Events exclude customer names, emails, private order links and payment details. Use Privacy choices to withdraw consent.
Reviews and portfolio media
Reviews and optional photos or videos are held for moderation. Published feedback shows the name you choose, date, product, rating if supplied, and original source where applicable. Your email stays private. Publication requires permission; use the withdrawal link provided after submission or contact us to withdraw permission. Portfolio media is published only after the studio records its source and permission.
Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts that service to display them.
Email updates
Our early-access mailing list requires an explicit opt-in and email confirmation. When you opt in, updates may include new pieces, occasional offers matched to the styles you browse and one abandoned-cart reminder. We use browsing and basket activity from the last 30 days for relevance and keep a record of consent and withdrawal. You can unsubscribe using the link in an update or contact us. Order receipts and replies about an existing order are separate from marketing subscriptions.
Google Merchant Center connection
The Tables By Vauss Google Merchant connection is for the studio owner. It connects the studio's catalogue to Google Merchant Center, submits product-feed updates and reads account setup, product-review issues and listing performance. It uses the Google Content API permission to manage Merchant Center information. Customers do not need this connection to shop.
We use Google account and Merchant Center data only to operate and support this connection and show its results to the authorised studio owner. We do not sell that data or use it for personalised advertising. Tables By Vauss's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Renewable Google authorisation is encrypted on the studio's server. Access is restricted to the connection service; the public shop does not receive access tokens. Authorised operators may access connection records as needed to maintain the integration or resolve an owner-requested support issue.
The owner can revoke access through Google Account connections and contact us to remove stored authorisation and connection records. Revoking access prevents future authorised API calls; it does not itself remove products already submitted to Merchant Center or stop Google from fetching a public feed already configured there. Those settings can be managed in Merchant Center.
Storage, retention and your choices
We keep information as needed to provide the service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Service providers process information on our behalf under their own applicable terms and privacy policies, and may process it in countries outside your own.
To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email hello@tablesbyvauss.net. We may need to verify your request and retain records required for legal or accounting purposes. We will explain any limits that apply.
